Steve Job Resigns from Apple CEO, What next?

Steve Jobs - Founder & CEO of Apple resigned from the CEO post and Tim Cook has been named new Apple CEO. This might be a shock to many but the titan has been suffering from health issues that force he to stepped down.

Steve submitted his resignation letter (as below) on 24th August.

Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak founded Apple in 1976. After 35 years, Apple becomes one of best-known hardware products include the Macintosh line of computers, the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad.

Although Steve leaves CEO post but he is remain closely with the Apple’s product and a powerful chairman. We hope that He is doing well with his future and of course wish he all the best.

CUPERTINO, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)— To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:

I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.

I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.

As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.

I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.

I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.

Can you imagine what is the look of Google CEO (Larry Page and Sergey Brin)’s business card? What you going to do if you received their business card and they offer you a job?

I believe this was 1st business card of Google CEO, Larry Page - one of Google founder.

I met both Carl Page and Larry Page at a party hosted by a Stanford friend of mine in 1998. Carl gave me his card for eGroups and said “we’re hiring”. Larry gave me his card for Google — a flimsy bit of paper obviously printed by bubble jet — and said “we’re hiring”. I said, “Nah, who needs another search engine?” and went to graduate school.

Imagine if he accepted the job offer then his life might changed. That’s life. We make decisions and there is no Undo.

This is very interesting. PTPTN (Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi) Malaysia which provides education loan to malaysian students has given some kind of loan formula for repayment schedule.

I took this formula from PTPTN website and i admit that it would take you some time to calculate it. (If you has no problem in your additional math then should be no problem to calculate it. )

A robot called “PR2” which develops by Willow Garage can plays a game of pool. Awesome!!

Willow Garage,a company that develops software for robotics applications,just used only a week time to teach their robot to play pool. Believe or not!

Watch this awesome Robot plays the pool as below video:

PR2 can hold the cue and select shots by it own without any human help.

I bet next time, they will teach their robot to play football and basketball in the future.

Efforts at containing the spill were at first inconsequential but some progress has been made since the fitting of a cap to stem the leak.

Over 50+ days and estimate of the leak from 5,000 barrels a day to 12,000-19,000 barrels a day.As of today, the well continues to leak oil into the gulf.

This is very interesting, today while I am searching for Hong Kong cutie angelababy pictures, I came across a blog (wayangtimes dot com).

This pretty Hong Kong girl is really funny and she is very angry for her ex-boyfriend because he dumped she due to small breast (A cups). OMG!!

So this poor girl decided to take some kind of breast enhance supplements with brand name goes by “C”. After 3 months, she actually enhnce her breast from A to C cups. So she decide to take revenge and scold her ungrateful ex-boyfriend.

Some peoples are saying that this widely successful viral video is part of a online marketing campaign by a certain Hong Kong health products company.

World Famous TechBlog “TechCrunch” has been Hacked!

Believe or not, the famous Tech Blog – TechCrunch has been hacked twice today, not more than 24 hours.

The hecker leave some interesting message to TechCrunch Owner – Micheal Arrington.

Here the message:

“So Arrington, how much did all the media coverage yesterday brought you in trough the welcome.html ad you forced people to? What a f**king retarded move was that you twat. You should be thanking me and sucking on my f**king ballsack for not deleting everyone on the box and publishing the mysql, if that’s what you want O.K, I can do that. Also, you fucking dickwads from sites like Yahoo!, BBC and plenty more, where the F**K do you see adult content on http://dupedb.com/ ???????? I mean honestly, are you f**ktards also in just for the money?!?!?!”

According to this message, it is cleanly the hacker is unhappy with TechCrunch decision to put up the interstitial ad.

I went to checked TechCrunch blog, seem like everything is back to normal. But when i clicked and try to read some of the articles. TechCrunch return “Page Not Found “.

I don’t know what happen but indeed they try to fix their blog.

This is not the first that a famous blog hacked by hacker, another super blogger – Shoemoney also be hacked but luckily there was no any damage to his blog.

My Two Cents:

Since TechCrunch is using Wordpress Platfrom for their blog, i think i should update my wordpress blog to lastest version – 2.9.1 asap.
